Want to collect sign-ups without charging members right away? With Abler, you can easily onboard members or guardians using a free registration service. This is ideal for trials or onboarding your members to Abler before setting up paid services.
Start by creating your groups (e.g., U8, U9, U10) so you can link them to the service, you do that by clicking groups in the left hand menu and then add groups. This helps you keep registrations organised and ensures members are placed in correct groups from the start.
How It Works
This setup is mainly intended for offering free sign-ups to trial sessions, onboarding your members without payment or any other activities that don’t require payment.
If the registration is intended for guardians/parents, they create an account via the link you send them as themselves and add their child during the registration process, and register the child for the appropriate group or activity.
Make sure to link the correct group (e.g., U8) to the service so that new registrations are automatically organised within Abler.
Step-by-Step: Set Up a Free Registration Service
Step 1: Create Your Service
Go to Service Overview in the left-hand menu.
Click Add Service to create a new service.
Fill in the service details and make sure to connect it to the correct group (e.g., U8).
Step 2: Add an Option
When the setup window opens, click Add Option.
Enter the name and description of the option (e.g., “U8 Trial Session or u8 season 24/25”).
Set the price to 0 kr to make the service free.
Sharing the Registration Link
Once your service is ready:
Click Go to Shop on the far right of the service.
Copy the link and send it to parents or members.
When they open the link, they can complete the registration — no payment or login is required to view the service.
Registrations will appear under the correct group and service in Abler once completed.
