When a new season begins, it's often necessary to update your club's group structure in Abler. This is especially common for groups that have yearly memberships, where participants move up to a new group based on age.


Here’s what you need to do:

  • Update the age range for each group to reflect the new season.
  • Set the correct active time period for each group, as attendance percentages are calculated based on the defined time period the group is active.


Once the groups have been updated, you can filter participants (e.g., by age) and move them to their new group in bulk.

Update a Group

  1. Click on Groups in the left-hand menu.
  2. Select the group you want to update.
  3. Click Edit, then choose Edit Group.
  4. Update the age range and the active periodfor the group.

    All other group settings will remain unchanged.

  5. Click Update to save your changes.

Move Members Between Groups

  1. Click on Groups in the left-hand menu.
  2. Open the group that contains the members you want to move.
  3. Use filters (such as birth year) to narrow down the list of members.
  4. Select multiple members using the checkboxes.
  5. Click Edit, then choose Move/Copy to Group.
  6. Select the target group.
    • Choose Move to transfer the members.
    • Choose Copy to keep them in both groups.
