You can create gift cards that are sold in your club’s Abler Shop. Gift cards can be set to work for specific courses or all services available — you decide.
You can sell gift cards in your club’s shop, and buyers can use them to purchase services in the same shop.
As the club admin, you choose exactly which services or products the gift card can be used for.
When a customer buys a gift card from the shop:
They receive an email with a confirmation and a printable version of the card.
The gift card holder can use the code on the card to pay for selected services in your club’s shop.
Step 1 – Create the Gift Card
Note: You need admin and payment permissions in the club to create a gift card.
Go to Finances in the left-hand menu in Director HQ.
Open the Discounts tab and select Configuration.
Click Create and choose Create Discount.
Under General, fill in the basic details for the gift card:
Type: Select Gift Card.
Name: Give the gift card a descriptive name.
Gift Card Amount: Enter the price of the gift card.
Discount Lifetime: Set how long the gift card is valid (not longer than the discount profile’s lifetime).
Valid for: Define how long gift cards linked to the profile should remain valid.
Under Services, choose which divisions and services the card applies to.
Note: To allow usage across multiple divisions, simply select the relevant divisions under Divisions — the services within them will appear under Accepted by.
Step 2 – Create a Service in the Form of a Gift Card
Go to Service Overview under the relevant department in the left-hand menu.
Click Create in the top-right corner and select Add Gift Card.
Fill in the details for the gift card:
Name the card and add a description of the service or product.
Under Gift Card, select the gift card you created in Step 1.
Location: Add the club’s location.
Preview in Webshop: You can preview how the service looks in the marketplace before publishing.
When ready, click Create.
Once the card is created, it will be available for purchase in your club shop.
