Create and manage events that go beyond regular training sessions, such as tournament registrations, parent meetings, or team gatherings like pizza nights. These non-training events won’t affect player attendance records, but you can still enable payment options to streamline fees and reduce administrative work with Abler's one-click payment feature.
To create an event:
- In Director HQ, navigate to Events in the left-hand menu.
- On the Add menu, select Create Event.
- Fill in the details for the events, and select Create Event when you're finished.
- Groups: Select the relevant group(s) to ensure that the correct players and/or guardians receive the event invitation.
- Venue: Select where the exercise will take place.
- Players attending by default: If this option is selected, it assumes everyone will attend unsell a player or guardian changes their status to "not attending". If the default attendance option is not selected, players or guardians must actively respond to indicate whether they will attend. Note: As a coach or admin, you can always override the attendance list as needed.
- Limited Spots: Select this option for events with a registration cap. Registrations will close once the maximum number of participants has been reached.
- Send alert: You can choose to notify players and/or guardians about the event.
- Top until responded: By selecting this option, the event will stay at the top of the member's schedule until they respond.
- If this is a payable event, select the Payable Event option. Additional fields for payment details will appear.
- Payment Deadline: Specify the last date by which payment needs to be made.
- Destination Account: This account must be linked to all the groups involved. If it isn't, contact our support team for assistance.
- Amount: Set the amount that participants will be charged.
- When you're done, select Create Event. The payable event will appear at the top of the group's schedule. After the guardian or member completes the payment, the event will automatically move to its correct spot in the program.
